Because some people can’t figure out the bookmarks function of their browsers, here is a link to this year’s fantasy football league. There’s one on the sidebar too.

Toki and I hit the road this morning to gain some elevation in Cloudcroft, NM. Following are pictures, mostly featuring the dog since he doesn’t have opposable thumbs.

It’s probably just as well that this game (do a ctrl-f for hero quest, the link’s messed up for me) was never made. The NES probably would have wound up broken.

They’re releasing LOOM on Steam! I played this when I was, oh, nine. It involved a lot of puzzles centered around weaving things, but also geese, I remember. Anyway, that and the news that Monkey Island is coming to xbox (and in 1080p!), plus new Monkey Island content on the PC, is quite exciting.
I must get to practicing my insult fighting. “You make me want to puke.” “You make me think somebody already did.”

I think koosh ball looks pretty good. And definitely ALF. But really, any of these looks better than the new GI Joe.

Just an FYI–more of this will likely be coming down the pike in the next few years. I wouldn’t say that’s a bad thing.
In other news, the demo for NCAA ‘10 was released yesterday. I’ve already got the logo ready for my create-a-team:

Just walk away.

The fact that I am still alive sometimes amazes me. Not only did I survive drownproofing yesterday (swimming with boots on, taking pants off to create flotation device) (yes, really), but I went to a Stinger missile range today and didn’t get blown to pieces. It was cool–they were firing both from the shoulder and from Avengers (humvees with missiles & .50 cals on top), and them drones blew up good. I’ll have more pics later, I think.
